The North Central Association of Colleges and Schools awarded the Health Science Campus an unconditional ten-year accreditation in the spring of 2001.
The Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education has accredited the twenty-three graduate medical education programs offered by the UT Health Science Campus.
The University Medical Center is fully accredited by the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations.
The Rehab Hospital and the outpatient rehabilitation program are both accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF) - the nation's highest measure of rehabilitation excellence.
All of the UT's health profession programs are fully accredited by their respective national and/or state accrediting bodies. Programs are accredited as follows: Liaison Committee on Medical Education for the Doctor of Medicine Program; Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education for the Master of Science in Nursing Program; Accreditation Council for Occupational Therapy Education for the Master of Occupational Therapy Program; Accreditation Committee on Education for the Physician Assistant for the Master of Science in Biomedical Sciences/Physician Assistant Program; Commission on Accreditation in Physical Therapy Education for Master of Science in Biomedical Science/Physical Therapy, and the Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology for the Master of Science in Occupational Health.
