On the Health Science Campus, the Office of Faculty Affairs provides services to the faculty, academic departments and administration to facilitate the academic mission of The University of Toledo.
Faculty Affairs maintains the faculty database and personnel records. It also serves as a resource for general faculty affairs issues such as appointment, promotion and tenure processes, questions concerning the Faculty Rules and Regulations, UT policies and benefits.
In collaboration with the Governance Committee and Senate Faculty Affairs Committee, the Office of Faculty Affairs recommends new and amended faculty policies and procedures.
The office also studies issues affecting the ability of UT to recruit and retain the highest quality faculty members.
Annually Faculty Affairs coordinates an orientation program for new faculty providing information about resources available to the faculty.
