Applications for the Internal Medicine residency program at UT are accepted through the Electronic Residency Application Service (ERAS). A complete application to our program requires:

  • Minimum USMLE score of 82, on first attempt
  • Within 5 years of medical school graduation
  • Dean's Letter and two letters of reference *
  • Valid ECFMG certificate (if applicable)
  • Transcripts

* If you are an International Medical Graduate (IMG) and do not have a Dean's letter, we will need 3 letters of reference.

The Department of Medicine sponsors EAD, J-1 and H1b Visas
