On behalf of our faculty, welcome to the Department of Medicine's web site. We hope you will discover this to represent one of the region's best training programs in Internal Medicine. Blessed with modern facilities, a broad patient base and superb faculty, we offer both categorical and preliminary medicine tracks.

Our education-oriented medicine programs focus on the training of excellent physicians in a supportive atmosphere. Supervised by renowned faculty, who are easily accessible and excellent bedside teachers, our residents receive training in medicine, which we believe, is superior to all others in our region. Our residents are exposed to a variety of medical cases over a diverse patient population. We believe that our job is to train outstanding internists, and we proudly boast an ABIM pass rate significantly above the national average. Beyond the solid grounding you will obtain in basic medicine and neurosciences, your access to extensive on-campus research, and cutting edge technology allows those choosing further subspecialty training to compete without difficulty in national fellowship programs.
