Openings and Requirements
Thank you for your interest in our residency program. We recruit each year for three categorical positions:

 PGY1's matching for July 2009 will begin as a PGY1 year at University of Toledo in Internal Medicine.

Minimum qualifications for our program are as follows:

 Degree from an LCME accredited medical school for US and Candian graduates

 USMLE scores of 80% or above on part I and part II; exceptions may be made for candidates with prior experience in Neurology (clinical or research), and for University of Toledo graduates  

 A valid ECFMG certificate for Foreign Medical Graduates 

 US citizenship, permanent residency or eligibility for J1 or H1B visa

 3 letters of recommendation preferably from physicians licensed to practice in the US or Canada.

 Application must be received by December 1 of the appropriate match year.  If applicable, a valid ECFMG certificate must also be received by the deadline. Submit your application through the Electronic Residency Application System (ERAS).  Upon receipt of your completed application, you will be sent an email if you are selected to interview. 

You must participate and register for the NRMP Main Match.
